Sold house prices. By postcode or street.
Type a postcode or a street. You get every recorded sale from HM Land Registry, the typical price, and how it splits by detached, semi, terraced and flats.
What the Land Registry records
Every time a home in England or Wales is sold for its full market value, HM Land Registry records the price, the date of the transfer, the address, the property type (detached, semi-detached, terraced, or flat and maisonette), whether it is freehold or leasehold, and whether it was a new build. That is the data behind this search.
Reading the results
The typical price is the median: half the sales were above it and half below. It is less affected by one very expensive or very cheap sale than an average. Look at sales from the last two years for a current picture, and compare like with like, because a detached house and a flat on the same street can be hundreds of thousands apart.
For estate and letting agents
Sold prices are the content sellers want before they book a valuation. Area guides with recent sales are one of the best ways for an agent's website to rank for "estate agents in" searches. See our estate agent website design page for how we build them.
