What we collect

If you use the contact form we receive your name, email address, the URL you give us and your message. We use them to reply to you and, if you become a client, to do the work. We keep contact form messages for 12 months unless you become a client, in which case we keep project records for 6 years for accounting purposes.

When you use one of our free tools, we record the website address you checked, the time and a one-way scrambled version of your IP address, so we can stop abuse and see which tools are used. We keep these records for 12 months. The VAT calculator runs entirely in your browser and sends us nothing.

If we have emailed you a link to a concept homepage, we record when that link is opened and when the page is viewed, with the type of device and the IP address, so we know whether our email reached you. We keep these records for 12 months, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.

What we do not do

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It only runs if you click Accept on the cookie notice, and it sets cookies (_ga and _ga_*) that last up to two years. IP addresses are shortened before storage. If you click No thanks, or ignore the notice, no analytics or cookies are used. You can change your mind by clearing this site's data in your browser. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share your details with anyone except Google (for analytics, if you accept) and the email provider that delivers the form to us.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Email info@primustechservices.com for any of these.
